When graphic artist Stacey Moreno goes looking for answers to the suicide of her good friend Helen she gets more than she bargained for. Her journey takes her to spooky Redfern Manor in Washington's San Juan Islands and soon she is on a whirlwind adventure more befitting of her cartoon super heroine, Kendra. But she is no Kendra! She can't even tell her left from her right!

And what did happen to Helen? Could she have been a victim of the Manor and its strange inhabitants? Will Stacey also fall victim?

And what about all these strange, new feelings she is having about her sexy, mysterious boss, Mack Warren, a man once touched by tragedy, who now seems to be consumed with love for a ghost?
